Marybeth Byrd, American Idol finalist and Arkansas native, will perform with her band on the lawn of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library at 6 p.m. The free outdoor concert is part of the library’s 2025 Concert Series. Friday, September 19: Free Community Wellness Screening

St. Bernards Healthcare will host a free Community Wellness Screening at St. Bernards Auditorium from 7-10 a.m. The screening will measure blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, anemia, glucose and hemoglobin A1C. The Heart & Sole 5K, 10K & Half-Marathon takes place at NEA Baptist Hospital, 4800 E. Johnson Ave., Jonesboro. Races begin at 7 a.m. (half-marathon), 7:15 a.m. (10K), and 8 a.m. (5K).
